Dr. Dawson graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors of Science degree in 1969. In 1973, he graduated again from University of Michigan, but with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. It is interesting to note that the University of Michigan Dental School was at this time, the top rated dental school in the country.

  In 1973, Dr. Dawson established his practice in the Tawas area, and in 1975, moved into our "state of the art" dental building. Dr. Dawson was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1984 in recognition of his outstanding continuing education record. Additionally, Dr. Dawson has studied extensively in the areas of Temporomandibular joint dysfunctions and full mouth reconstructions. This study culminated in a Level IV certification from Orognathic Bioesthetics International. Dr. Dawson enjoys spending time with his family, Julie, Kenna and Tom, in the outdoors; and attending post-graduate educational courses.

  Hi! I'm Valorie, your friendly Dental Assistant. I've been working chair side with Dr. Dawson since my internship from Delta College in 1991. I live on the Bay in AuGres where I enjoy boating, golfing and spending time with my family, which includes my husband, Rick, our two sons, Connor and Cole, and our Yellow Lab, Stacey.

I really feel good that I can provide the highest quality of care for our patients; it's a great feeling when I hear what difference having a healthy mouth makes in their life. At home I enjoy working-out with my husband Chad, and playing outdoors with our two sons Lukas and Maximus.

I enjoy "shopping in the city" with my daughter Hannah; playing baseball with my two boys, Noah & Samuel; and going on dates to dreambuild with my husband, Craig.

  Hi, my name is Lynne, and I'm the first smiling face you will see when you come into the office. I've been working for Dr. Dawson since 1996, and have been in the dental profession since 1972. I've been a chair side assistant and now enjoy working with patients as the Treatment Coordinator. I'm married and have three beautiful daughters, who owe their great smiles to Dr. Dawson. We've lived in the Tawas area since 1995. I enjoy gardening, golf and spending time with my family.

  Hi, I'm Julie Dawson. I am a dental hygienist and graduated from the University of Detroit, in 1971. I was the dental hygienist in the practice for nine years, until we had our daughter, Kenna, who is now a second grade teacher in Ft Myers, Florida. She is married to her husband, Tom Kirschner, who is from Traverse City. Currently I am the Office Manager and attend a multitude of continuing education classes with Dr. Dawson. I enjoy cross-country skiing in the winter and riding our Harley motorcycle across the country in the summer!

  Hi, I'm Brian; I've been working with Dr. Dawson since 2004. I work with both administrative special projects and patient photography. I really enjoy working with the patients and using my photography skills to help provide high quality outcomes for their treatment. It feels great to work in an office that provides premium dental services to the patients. Outside the office I enjoy making Fine Art Photography, traveling with my wife and spending time outdoors in the summer.
